Sabela Mendoza trained in dance and movement arts. Her work combines dance, criticism, and literality as a mechanism for political action and poetic writing. In "Dedicatoria'', Sabela Mendoza collaborated with poet Nieves Neira for the realisation of a full-length performance, presented at the end of 2020 in the Ágora Centre, A Coruña. In 2022 she premiered “Dobrez”, with the accompaniment of Helena Salgueiro. She writes about dance in various publications and in her blog acuerpodebaile.com. She is also a member of the editorial board of Erregueté and was a contributor to the Diario Cultural de la Radio Galega. In recent years she has coordinated the publication of several books, such as the collective volume “La danza cuenta” (2020).
